Erik and Ernie – Pigs Party

A Birthday Bash with Cake, Friends and Far Too Much Mud

Pig’s birthday party is about to get gloriously messy. Ernie dives straight in, while Erik wonders whether anyone thought to arrange a clean corner.

Full Product Description

The banner is up, the hay bales are ready and the mud is looking particularly inviting. Pig’s birthday celebrations can begin.

Erik arrives carefully, inspecting the puddles. Ernie makes an entrance by cannonballing into them. With Hilda splashing the guests, Tess and Bess organising a slippery race and Lofty landing in the squelch, staying clean soon becomes an ambitious plan.

Zak is horrified about his feathers. Pipo adds a surprise splash. Then the birthday pig appears in a muddy crown, ready to celebrate with a gathering of very untidy friends.

Erik and Ernie: Pigs Party is a lively rhyming story packed with sliding, splashing and farmyard commotion. The fun comes from watching familiar characters tackle the same messy celebration in their own very different ways.

A cheerful birthday gift or read-aloud for children who enjoy animal antics and muddy adventures. Ernie would happily attend again. Erik may need a little persuading.
