Around me is a growing cast of cats, garden visitors, farmyard neighbours, river residents and other funny animal characters, each bringing their own habits, talents and highly questionable decisions.

Some are calm. Some are bossy. Several should not be left unsupervised. I’m naming no names, although Ernie knows what he did.
